He was predeceased by : his father Gerald B. Nanstiel Sr.; his children, Gregg Malson and Kathy Jean Nanstiel; his brother George Nanstiel; his stepmother Marion; and his stepsister Joan Connelly.
He is survived by : his mother Irene Nanstiel (Helker); his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Jerry Nanstiel (Jay), Chris Ann Redington, Cindi Coppedge and Colleen Malson (Marc); his granddaughter Holly; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Lillyann; his grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson and Lisa Simon; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Lexi Jackson, Curtis Labow (Kelly) and Chris Ann Redington (Steve); his grandchildren, Jennifer and Jared; his great grandchild Cindi Coppedge (Arthur); his grandson Nolan (Joy); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Briton, Briar and Bryce; his brother Jack Nanstiel; his stepsisters, Janet Farrelly and Judy Savitz; and his sister-in-law Trudy Heater. He is also survived by several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Concord United Methodist Church (25322 Church Rd, Seaford, DE 19973). He and Ruth Ann were Diamond Members of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line where they travelled to many ports through the years, experiencing time aboard each ship in the fleet up until COVID.
