He is survived by: his wife Mary Wharton (Stark); his children, Sheri Weitzel of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Ruggles (Bob) of Frankford, DE and Steve Wharton (Melissa) of Rotunda, FL.; his granddaughters, Amanda and Lindsay of Florida; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Tucker.
