He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McTeer and Amy McTeer (Guenin); his brother William G McTeer Sr. (Ruth Ann); his aunt Arlene Jarvis (Guenin); his granddaughter-in-law Katie McTeer (White); and his stepson R. J. Johnson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janie Ann McTeer (McCabe); his children, Bonnie Johnson (Bob), Jeannie Meloney (Bruce), Harold McTeer III, James McTeer (Marla) and John McTeer (Kristin); and his stepdaughter Tracy Aeschliman (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a tribute donation can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (support.woundedwarriorproject.org) in Harold's name.
