He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira Burket and Margeret Burket (Barbara); and his brother Richard Burket. He is survived by : his children, Amy Wagner (Mike) of King William, VA and Jeff of Seaford; his wife Fay Burket; and his stepchildren, Jeff Wheatley of Bridgeville, DE and Valerie Gilbert (Mike) of Lewes, DE. He is also survived by children & grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews & friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Seaford Church (805 Atlanta Rd, Seaford, DE 19973). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
