It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Ohm Achey of Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Achey and Eileen Ebert Achey; and his former wife Suzette Marie Achey of Mechanicsburg, PA. He is survived by: his children, Shawn M. Achey (Eleni Kalamaris) of Camp Hill, PA and Danielle M. Rice of Mechanicsburg, PA; his stepdaughter Cara Anne Van Buskirk (Dylan) of Frederica, DE; his sister Deborah M. Strunak (John) of Pottsville, PA; and his grandchildren, Amari and Aria. He is also survived by friends and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in Jim Achey's honor to an animal rescue of your choice or to his grandchildren's college fund. Please send college donations to Danielle Rice in memory of James Achey at Navy Federal Credit Union P.O. Box 3000.
