She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah (Mary Ann Sammons) and Jeanette; her husband Calvin R. Allen; and her siblings, Robert, Roland, Claudell, John, Nellie, Ruth, Margaret and Pauline.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Allen and Kyna Rowe (Greg); and her grandchildren, William Ellis (Tiffany), April Callaway (Derik), Rayna McGill (Kevin), Mallory Read (Josh) and Brandon Rowe (Lauren). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
