He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Farquhar and Katherine Farquhar; and his wife Mary Ellen Reinsmith Farquhar. He is survived by: his children, Katherine F. Benedict of Longmont and John C. Farquhar of Dewey Beach; his sisters, Janet Smith and Margaret Walker; his son-in-law Russell B. Benedict; and his grandson Cooper T. Benedict. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gettysburg Museum of History.
