He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kinsley and Iola Bardsley Kinsley; and his sister Diane. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Thompson; his son John V. Kinsley III; his daughter-in-law Diana Kinsley; his daughter Elisabeth "Lisa" K. Wile; his son-in-law Andy Wile; and his grandchildren, Vaughn Willenberger, Matthew Ritter, Evan, Erik Kinsley and Abigail Wile. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
