He was predeceased by: his parents, Fermina Martinez and Jose Benito Martinez Sr.; his brother Guadalupe Martinez; his godson Vernon Christopher Hernandez; and his son-in-law David Myers Jr. Each.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Martinez and Nikki Martinez-Myers; his daughter-in-law Kristin Martinez; his sister Fermina Dolores Hernandez; and his grandchildren, Dylan Martinez and Hollymarie Summers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
