He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Burr and Mary Burr; and his brother Robert Burr. He is survived by: his sisters, Marie Walls, Susie Burr and Mary Maurizio; and his significant other Monica Ogle. He is also survived by two step-children; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
