He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy A. Messick, Sr. and Evelyn LeCates Messick. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Conaway Messick of Seaford; his children, Rob Bagwell of Seaford, Jessica Kinsell (Kenny) of Seaford and Morgan Vanderwende (Cody) of Bridgeville; his brother Kirk Messick (Susan) of Seaford; and his grandchildren, Dalton, Chase Kinsell of Seaford, Diesel, Axel, Brutus and Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to current COVID-19 gathering restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
