She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Irving and Elsie Mae Simms Nichols. She is survived by: her siblings, George "Pie" Brummell, Doris Griffin and Mary Nicholas; and her sons, Leonard Bunkie Irving and James Fletcher. She is also survived by three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
