He was predeceased by: his sister Robin; and his grandparents, Edward, Rachel Hudson, Charles and Mattie Patterson.

He is survived by: his parents, Ben Patterson and Janie Patterson; his wife Becky Patterson; his daughters, Stacey and Angie (Bobby James); his grandchildren, Drake and Bailey; his mother-in-law Margaret Sipple; his brother-in-law Mike Sipple (Patti); and his nieces, Kelly and Lauren. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
