He was predeceased by: his mother Winona Ruth Godwin; and his wife Lynn McCrea (D. C.). He is survived by: his father William Samual McCrea; his sisters, Marilyn Ivison (Bob), Scheryl McDavid (Craig) and Susan Millman (Tim); his children, Michael W. McCrea Jr. and Debra Lynn McCrea-Morris; and his grandchildren, Jaye Morris (Seiho), Michaela Morris (Kaela) and Paige Morris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
