She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mann and Maggie Gibbs Mann; her sons, Douglas and Lionel Mann; and her siblings, Wilson (Lyzine), Robert, Tom Mann, Ola (James Gibbs Jr.), Jessie Cole, Ella (Joe Posey), Marie (Sam Palmer), Pearl (William Tingle) and Delores Andrews.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Mann, Brenda Corsey (Victor), Berneda Brown, Lois Lofton (Solomon) and Velda Mann; her granddaughter Maisha Williams (Theron); her brother-in-law Dorsey Briggs; and her close friend Burnell Gibbs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
