He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ervan Welch and Sallie O'Neal Welch White; his stepfather Fred White; and his sister Jeanette Beard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rita Schaab Welch; his sons, Curtis and Stuart (Shelley); his grandchildren, Natalie Woodland, Stacey Seilheimer and Angela Childs; and his great grandchildren, Keith Woodland, Morgan Seilheimer, Noah Childs and Shawn Seilheimer.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation to Hospice.
