He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Winnefred and Augusta Katherine Graefe Wilks. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Wendt; his sons, Jeff Wilks (Crystal) and Doug Wilks; his grandchildren, Holly Colby, Heather Grim, Travis Wilks, Zach Wilks and Chelsea Escamilla (Wilks); and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Thomas Grim, Autumn Colby, Rylei, Ellie, Chloe and Colton Wilks.
