It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert James DeYoung of Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Janice DeYoung; his wife Miriam S. DeYoung (Bender); his children, Elizabeth, Hannah, Sarah and Joshua; his sisters, Karen Warren (Tim) of Newton, AL, Sharon and Barbara; his parents-in-law, Samuel and Irma Bender of Vanleer, TN; his siblings-in-law, Paul Bender (Debra), Lena Krause (Rick), Esther Schlabach (David) and Dorothy Bender (James); his father Robert Peter DeYoung; his brother-in-law James Bender; and his nephew Lyndon Bender. He was also cherished by two aunts, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Smithson's Mennonite Chapel or Salisbury Mennonite Church.
