She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio DiPaula and Vincenzina DiPaula; her husband A. Dean Betts; her daughter Dr. Susan Betts; and her siblings, Teresa Samosuk, Phillip DiPaula and Dr. Anthony DiPaula.

She is survived by: her children, Dusty and Michael Betts (Lynne) of Seaford; her grandchildren, Michael Jr., David, Sarah, James, Samantha and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Finley, Dillon and Sofia; her grandchildren, Rosie Claire and Adam (Alyn); her great grandchild Cora; her daughter Colleen DeMott (Brian) of Seaford; her grandchildren, Brian Jr. (Cristina), Daniel, Phillip and Maria; her son Dr. Anthony Betts (Susan) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Julia, Austin and Christian; her great grandchild Dean Betts, Jr.; her grandchild Esquire (April) of Lewes; and her great grandchildren, Madeline and Abigail. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Dusty's name to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Seaford, Delaware or the Susan J. Betts Charitable Trust in care of the Delaware Community Foundation, Georgetown, Delaware.
