She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Clifton Jones, Sr. and Edith Emily Nelson Jones; her son John B. Moore, Jr.; and her brothers, Leroy Jones, Jr. and Lloyd Jones.

She is survived by: her husband John B. Moore, Sr. (Jack); her daughters, Brenda Biddle (Rusty) and Kim Fisher (Brian); her grandchildren, John Biddle, Josh Biddle, Andrew Biddle, Aubrey Ferkler, Benjamin Fisher and Gabriel Fisher; and her siblings, Mary Story (Sudler) and Morris Jones.

Donations may be made in Ruth's memory to St. Luke's Global Methodist Church 100 S. 5th Ave. Denton, MD 21629.
