Suzanne Short Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Short (Seaford, Delaware), born in Easton, Maryland, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Leroy Short; and her parents, Jesse Cover Shreve and Anita Shreve (Tolley). She is survived by: her sister Margaret Perry (Shreve); her brother-in-law Dwight Short; her daughters, Susan Denise Lawton and Deanne Beth Fonda; her son-in-law Carl Fonda; her grandchildren, Zachary S. Lawton (Faith), Brandi M. Lawton, Jennifer I. Fonda and Abigail S. Fonda; her great grandchildren, Serenity Lawton, Kylie Doughty, Hunter Lawton, Elijah Daub, Waverly Lawton and Wyatt Lawton; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Perry, Eileen McGrath (Edward) and Joan Short.
