He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pegelow and Mary Pegelow. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Pegelow; his sons, Frederick "Nate" Pegelow (Sherri) and George "Nick" Pegelow (Stephanie); his grandsons, Ryne, Drew and Brody; and his sisters, Teresa Wilson (Rudy) and Kaye Moynihan (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
