With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Elizabeth Hanes MD of Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on July 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin E. Hanes and Margaret B. Hanes (Murray); her son Daniel Adam Schultz; and her brother Melvin Angus Hanes. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen (Schultz) Leebel (John); her daughter-in-law Susan Schultz (Quinn); her grandchildren, Else, Adelle Leebel, Madelyn, Avery, Sadie and Quinn Schultz; and her sister Lorna Margaret Morrison (Hanes). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
