We announce the death of Virgina M. Benson (Seaford, Delaware), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Virgina will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Pinder and Mae Bessie Stinnett Pinder; her husband Milton Benson, Sr.; her sister Catherine Pinder Payne; and her siblings-in-law, Percy Benson, Ethel Benson, Viola Skinner and Charlotte Benson.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Schmitz (Larry) of South Korea, George Bennett, Jr. (Lisa) of Rolla, MO. and Milton; her adoptive daughter Tee; her siblings, Johnny Pinder (Linda) of Princeton, NC, Terry Pinder of Easton, MD and Rae Darling of Holiday, FL; her nephew Charles Benson; and her friends, Abby, Maria Hearns, Nancy and Marjorie Mitchell. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces.
