He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Sammons and Claudell Sammons. He is survived by: his wife Ann Sammons (Mills); his son Wayne Sammons; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Sammons; his daughter Wendy Sammons-Jackson; his son-in-law Rich Jackson; his grandchildren, Regan Sammons, Paige Sammons, Reed Jackson, Sawyer Jackson and Ray Jackson; his sister Peggy Jester; his brother-in-law Paul Jester; his brother Ray Sammons; his sister-in-law Candy Sammons; and his friend Bonnie Spedden. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
Bill held two causes very near and dear to his heart, the American Diabetes Association https://diabetes.org and the American Heart Association https://www.heart.org and would be most grateful for donations to these charitable organizations in lieu of flowers.
