We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 93, Alberta C. Godfrey (Selbyville, Delaware), born in Bishopville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Collins and Mirta Collins (Hickman); her husband Merrill A. Godfrey; and her siblings, Harry C. Collins Jr., Norman V. Collins, John P. Collins, Nelson G. Collins and Della C. Quillen.

She is survived by : her niece Donna K. Breasure of Milton, DE; and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Collins of Dagsboro, DE. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Alberta would wish for all who know her to pass forward a kind word, a good deed, or help someone in need.
