He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ballantyne and Louise Ballantyne (Kohlhoss); and his siblings, Robert, William Ballantyne, Mary Lou Smith, Dorothy Moore and Ruth Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ballantyne; and his children, Karen Edmondson (Steven), Beth Ann Gover (Jeff), Harry Ballantyne Jr. (Linda) and Scott Ballantyne (Jackie). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
