We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2022, at the age of 96, Jeannette E. Lynch of Selbyville, Delaware, born in Seaford, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Robert Allen and Radie Allen; her husband Charles L. Lynch; her daughters, Gail L. Lewis (Eric) of Frankford and Karen L. Hughes of Laurel; her brother-in-law LeeRoy Lynch (Mary Lou) of Seaford; her grandchildren, Adam Lewis (Jennifer), Ryan Lewis (Sarah), Courtney Conner (Charles) and Patrick Hughes (Amy); and her caregivers, Felicia Hall, Annette Mumford and Sally Bradshaw. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, Salem United Methodist Church P.O. Box 410, Selbyville, DE 19975 or Portsville United Methodist Church, 31050 Dogwood Lane, Laurel, DE 19956.

“Miss Jeannette touched the lives of so many... Not only was she the mother of one of my classmates, Karen, she was our school nurse, and encouraged our survival through minor illnesses and mishaps that followed us . Through the years she continued to set the standard for us all. She never failed to recognize and greet me when we would meet in various places. Miss Jeannette will be missed.
