She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hinnant and Ruby Howard Hinnant; her husband Albert Hagans, Sr.; and her children, Albert Hagans, Jr., Richard Hagans and Ruby L. Briddell.

She is survived by: her children, Moses Hagans, Donnie Hagans, Robbie Hagans (Vanessa), Jackie Hagans (Lisa) and Marjorie James (Leonard); her children-in-law, Rev. Sylvester Briddell and Margaret Hagans; and her siblings-in-law, William Hagans, Regina Hinnant, Luetta Bridges and Arsmithe (Willie). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 41 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (528 Booth St, Salisbury, MD 21801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at the Golden Acres Cemetery.
