It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis McCormick Knowles of Selbyville, Delaware, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard McCormick and Marion McCormick (Hall); her husbands, William Merchant Lowerre, Jr. and Peter Andrew Knowles; and her siblings, Howard F. McCormick, Jr., Richard McCormick, John McCormick and Patricia McCormick O'Connor.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark Andrew Knowles (Madonna) and Kevin Knowles (Tammy Trattner); and her grandchildren, Shane Knowles (Nina), Dawn Atwood (Nicholas), Brian Knowles (Angie) and Michael Knowles. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
