He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Abel and Stella Abel (Szupper); and his brother Robert Abel. He is survived by: his wife Lynn M. Abel (Goodrich); his sister Theresa Abel Eason (Dave); his niece Catherine Monge (Peter); his nephew Robert Abel (Kim); and his in-laws, Donna Redmon, Willard Reabold (Madeline) and Wendy Lambertson (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
