We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 69, Donald William Harmon of Smyrna, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather James McNair, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his children, Rebecca A. Hanlon (Jacob E. Hanlon) of Middletown, DE and Thomas W. Harmon of Smyrna, DE; his grandchildren, Madison Hanlon, Grace Hanlon, Jake Hanlon, Brynlee Harmon and Ella Harmon; his half-siblings, James and Terri McNair; his sisters-in-law, Jayne D'Ortone (Fred) and Ree Impriano (Mike); and his stepson Michael Ronig.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Faries Funeral Directors (29 S Main St, Smyrna, DE 19977). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Faries Funeral Home (29 S Main St, Smyrna, DE 19977).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and/or any animal shelter/foundation of your choice. Keep Donald "Donnie"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
