He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Elousie Lawson and Bayard Earle Sweetman; and his son Mark Kelly Sweetman. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jean Sweetman of Smyrna, Delaware; his son Dwayne Sweetman (Elaine Roberts Sweetman) of Charlottesville, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Annamaria Sweetman of Dover, Delware; his nieces, Allyson (Jenn) and Jen Procter of Daniel Island; and his granddaughter Miranda Kaitlyn Sweetman (Samantha Alexandra Haggblom).
