He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mood and Alice Mood; and his siblings, Virginia, John, Donald and Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, James Mood, Jr. (Virginia), Kevin Mood and Suzanne Carew (Brendan); his grandchildren, Matteo, Chiara and Mia; and his sister Alice Biter.
