Carter (Smyrna, Delaware), born in Amsterdam, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, June Carter (McClumpha) and Alton Carter. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his daughters, Dawn Jory (Eddie), Kimberly Bierman (Randy) and Melissa Fulgham (James); his grandchildren, Ashley, Timothy of Matthew, AJ, Bryce and Zach; and his pet Smokey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delaware Hospice in Milford.
