It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Wiley of Smyrna, Delaware, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lally and Julia Lally; her sister Helen Schmidt; and her children, Regina Wiley and Stephen Wiley.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Wiley; her children, Joan Morrison (Mark) and Robert Wiley (Teresa); her grandchildren, Lisa Sullivan (John), Stephen Wiley (Jill), Bob Wiley (Brooke), Sarah Weldin (Josh) and Meaghan Morrison; and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Ella, Caden, Parker and Owen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Joan's name to the Delaware Hospice Center, whose loving hands cared for her in her final days.
