He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Skinner; his stepson Lennon; his siblings, Betty and Butch; and his former wife Cheryl.
He is survived by: his father Jack Skinner; his brothers, Stephen Skinner and Stuart Skinner (Christine Wisniewski Skinner); his sons, John Michael Skinner II (Tasha) and Ian Matthew Skinner (Julia); his stepchildren, Michael Wisniewski (Brittany), Schuyler Wisniewski (Susan), Brooke Finney (Robert), Noelle Wisniewski, Caiden DiRusso, Teagan DiRusso and William DiRusso; and his wife Christine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
