We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 86, Raymond Arnold Vorus (Smyrna, Delaware), born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Raymond Arnold farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Raymond Arnold is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Wallace Carr and DeWitt Vorus of Memphis; his brother James E. Vorus of California; and his stepsister Joanne Tenpenny. He is survived by: his wife Pat Murphy Vorus; his children, Sandy Vorus Richardson (Randy), Susan E. Vorus and Scott H. Vorus of Memphis; his stepsister Jeania Howard (Lee); and his friends, Doris and Lloyd Schwartz. He is also survived by three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.
