We are sad to announce that, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 95, Rita Marcia Golden of Smyrna, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Stonefield and Dorothy Stonefield; and her husband Martin Golden. She is survived by: her children, Mina Johns (Ric) and Chad Golden (Teresa); her grandchildren, Aaron Johns (Jen), Jennifer Dunlap (Dennis), Holly Walker, Darrin Johnson, Jr. (Rose) and Jacob Golden (Angie); and her great grandchildren, Sahara Golden, Thalia Golden and Calliope Golden.

As Rita was an avid reader, donations may be made to Duck Creek Regional Library in lieu of flowers.
