Susan R. Orlando Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan R. Orlando of Smyrna, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan R. Orlando to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Mangiamele and Margaret Mangiamele; her husband Joseph M. Orlando; her grandson Matthew Orlando; and her siblings, Daniel, Rachel, Nancy, Nicky, Anna and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Grace (George), Margo, Marty (Tatiana), Michael (Liza) and Susan (Keith); her grandchildren, Mario Orlando (Meg), Andrew Hutchinson (Alli), Daniel Taylor (Emily), Nicole Taylor (Ali) and Gina Taylor (Jimmy); her great grandchild Braden Hutchinson; her nephews, Jimmy (Lois), Nick, Jackie, Mark, Paul (Karen), Frank, Ron (Susan) and Albert; and her sister-in-law Angel Grasso.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home (123 W Commerce St, Smyrna, DE 19977). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Polycarp Catholic Church (55 Ransom Ln, Smyrna, DE 19977).
