It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary A. Powell of Townsend, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Powell and Betty Powell (Succarotte); and his brother Joseph Anderson. He is survived by : his wife Mary A. Powell (Lannon); his daughter Rachael Wheelin; his stepchildren, Mary Theresa Paul, Jacqueline Paul and David Paul; his grandchildren, Tiffany Powell, Eric Wheelin, Emily Wheelin, Isabel Evangeline, Eric Pennington, Colby Gary, Tristan Jones and Star Jones; and his siblings, Linda Derby, Char DeLillio, Betsy Murray and Robert Ainsworth.
