George H. Benson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George H. Benson of Townsend, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael John and Eleanor Patricia Benson (Breen); and his brother Michael Benson. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Benson (Sisk); his children, Kelly Hagerty (Tom DelGenio), George M. Benson (Amy) and Michael J. Benson (Daniella); his sisters, Patricia McCunney, Mary Davis (John) and Maggie Barilotti (Vinnie); and his grandchildren, Kyle Hagerty, Jenna Hagerty, Kaitlyn Benson, Lila Benson and Gia Benson.
