With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Howard Cockerham of Townsend, Delaware, who passed away on April 5, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Martin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Martin. Though Martin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cockerham and Dorothy Ewing Cockerham; his wife June Louise Cockerham; and his brother Bob Cockerham. He is survived by: his children, Martin Dean Cockerham (Cindy) and Dottie Sanders (Rick). He is also survived by four grandsons, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
