With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Payne of Townsend, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thompson and Hannah Thompson (Riale). She is survived by: her husband Donald E. Payne, Jr.; her daughter Kristi Lester (Todd, Sr.); her grandchildren, Shannon Kirwin (Justin), Todd Lester, Jr. (Danielle), Tyler Lester (Morgan) and Shane Lester (Heather); her great grandchildren, Westen, Presley, Aubree, Harper, Adrianna and Richard; and her children, Paul, Jacqui and Christopher Lester.
