We are sad to announce that, on July 25, 2025, at the age of 90, Alberta H. Richie (Wilmington, Delaware) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Hatmaker and Ida Mattice Hatmaker; her husband Ned; and her granddaughter Andrea Guindon. She is survived by: her children, Linda Guindon (David), James Richie (Eileen) and Kevin Richie (Gina Marie); her granddaughters, Megan Couden (Doug), Erin Armstrong (Steve) and Olivia DeLuca Leh; her niece Julie Keene Eskesen (Chris); and her great-nephew Ian Keene Eskesen. She is also survived by six great-grandsons; 2 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alberta's memory to the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 850 Mt. Lebanon Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
