It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alecia A. LaScala of Wilmington, Delaware, born in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred A. Edwards and Margaret M. Edwards (Brennan); her husband Francis P. "Flip" LaScala; and her siblings, Thomas, John Edwards, Bridget McDevitt and Margaret Barr.
She is survived by: her children, Maggie Goonan (Thomas) and Philip LaScala (Jamie); her grandchildren, Luke LaScala, Kristina Taylor (Justin), Jeremy and Ryan Goonan; her great grandchildren, Francesca and Amelia Taylor; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Dragna, James H. Barr and Anthony LaScala. She is also survived by many friends and family.
