We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2025, at the age of 98, Alice Elizabeth Goater Dunwody of Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Goater and Mary Goater; her husband William McIntosh Dunwody II; her brother John C. Goater II; her son John R. Dunwody; and her grandson Newton B. Carskadon III.
She is survived by: her sister Sarah G. Conner; her sons, William M. Dunwody III (Joan), James L. Dunwody and David G. Dunwody (Norma); her grandchildren, Sasha, Ashley, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth and John; and her great grandchildren, Ashley, Connor, Isla and Nolan.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel in Culpeper, Virginia.
