He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hicks and Charlotte Hicks; and his wife Diane Hicks. He is survived by: his sons, Alvin, Joel (Teena), Darryl (Jamie) and Elijah (Cherae); his sister Sissy; his nieces and nephews, Chrissy Kenyon, Walter Kenyon, Uber, John Chance (Susan), Alan Chance and Chad Marshall (Joanne); his friends, Terri Lynch and Miguel; Chris White.
