She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenico Alisa and Columbia Seneca Alisa; her husband Anthony DiSimplico; her daughter Eleanor DiSimplico Potts; her siblings, Frank (Rachel), Joseph (Madeleine), Michael Alisa, Angela DiEmedio (Dominick), Catherine Salvatore and Rose Gallucio; and her in-laws, Pasquale DiSimplico and Mary DeStefano (Luke).
She is survived by: her son Guy DiSimplico (Theresa); her grandchildren, Megan Potts Zamzow (Shawn), Michael Potts (Kristen), Dante (Caroline), Julian and Nikko DiSimplico; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Oliver, Isaiah Zamzow, Nora and Eva Potts; her siblings, Henry Alisa (Barbara) and Carmela Dean; and her sister-in-law Theresa DiSimplico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (901 N Dupont St, Wilmington, DE 19805). An entombment was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Cathedral Cemetery (2400 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805).
