He is survived by: his mother Janie Marie Earl (Ronnie); his stepmother Anne Poindexter of Boston, Mass; his siblings, Claude Lee Poindexter (Charlene), Troy Poindexter (Carmen) and Theresa Poindexter of Boston, Mass; his brother-in-law Howard Lewis of Newark, DE; his aunts and uncles, Gracie, Alice, Carolyn, Joyce, Jenny, Nell, Lu Veen, Bobbie Anne, Maxine, Walter and John Tucker; his cousin Alma Haskins-Jones; Bishop Allen Fields. He is also survived by six Nephews; two Great Neice's; three Great Nephews.
